Plan a project that fits
A lead magnet funnel with an opt-in page and thank-you page uses two of your 15 funnel steps. Add a welcome sequence in the single campaign and use one tag for interested contacts. Your hosted course can contain the lessons for one offer; a separate course-information webpage does not consume another hosted-course slot.

Is free access a paid lifetime deal?
No. The account is an ongoing free tier subject to current terms and limits. It is not a one-time purchase of every paid feature forever.
How the free plan compares with paid plans in 2026
Systeme.io pricing starts with a free account, followed by Startup, Webinar and Unlimited. The free plan includes enough resources for one compact online business experiment: sales funnels, email marketing, an online course and a blog. A paid plan mainly expands capacity and adds features such as evergreen webinars on the Webinar tier. Choose the pricing plan that matches your workload rather than the largest tier by default.
Plan an automation within the free allowance
Write the workflow on paper before building it. For example: a visitor submits a form, receives a welcome email and follows a link to the resource. Keep your tag, campaign, rule and workflow usage within the free-plan limits. Reusing the same core journey can be more efficient than creating a separate automation for every page. Check both the successful path and the case where the contact submits the form twice.
Can you sell digital products on the free plan?
You can build a checkout and deliver an offer within the available resources. The platform does not take a transaction fee, but your payment processor can charge its own fees. Test the order form, confirmation and access instructions before promotion. Unlimited emails do not mean unlimited contacts: the free account has a 2,000-contact allowance.
What changes when you upgrade or downgrade?
The Startup plan increases funnel, contact and course capacity. The Webinar plan adds automated webinars and higher limits. Unlimited is for workloads that exceed the smaller tiers. You can upgrade from account settings. For a downgrade, contact support and reduce usage to fit the lower plan. Free migration is available with an eligible annual subscription or Unlimited monthly, rather than every free account.
Our scaling recommendation
Launch one useful offer, measure the response and identify the actual resource constraint. More funnels will not repair weak copy or a broken follow-up. Upgrade when you need a specific feature or exceed a limit, then compare monthly billing with the annual total before committing.
