PLR and master resell rights describe permissions attached to a specific product. They do not automatically mean you may edit, redistribute or pass resale rights to everyone. The written licence for the exact bundle controls what you can do.

Read the rights before building the offer

• Can you edit the content or only resell the finished product?
• Can you change the branding and title?
• Can you give it away as a lead magnet?
• Can your buyers resell it, and under what terms?
• Are the images, music and other assets covered by the licence?
• Are there minimum prices or restrictions on marketplaces?

These are questions to check, not a claim that every PLR licence grants those rights. Keep a copy of the applicable terms with the product files. If rights are unclear, resolve them with the seller before publishing.

PLR, resale rights and master resell rights are different

Private label rights may allow editing or rebranding, but the licence defines the actual permissions. Resale rights may allow selling a product without transferring resale rights to the buyer. Master resell rights may permit passing specified resale permissions onward. These labels are not interchangeable, and a bundle title is not a substitute for a written licence.

Check your sales-page promises

Describe the files, format, intended audience and permitted uses accurately. State any restrictions on redistribution, marketplace sales or trademark use that apply. If you change the material, check that you have permission to do so. Avoid promising that the buyer owns exclusive content when other people can buy the same PLR package.

Build a clear delivery workflow
